A 39 year old Saskatoon woman has been charged with fraud over $5,000 following a six month investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Fraud Section.

The woman is charged with defrauding her Saskatoon employer of more than $300,000 while she was working as an accountant. The fraud took place over a four year period between 2003 and 2007. Police were notified when the employer noticed inconsistencies in financial records.

The woman is scheduled to appear in Provincial Courtroom #1, at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 24th.
