Subject: Stabbing - 20th Street And Avenue O

Saskatoon Police are investigating an aggravated assault which occurred over the weekend at Avenue 0 and 20th Street West.

At approximately 6:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011, Police were called to a report of an injured male. The 34 year old victim reported being approached on the street by two males and assaulted. He was transported to hospital where he is being treated for several stab wounds.

One male suspect is described as being approximately 20 years of age, short with a heavy build, long hair, dressed in black. The second male suspect is described as approximately 20 years of age, six feet tall, with a medium build and short hair, also dressed in black. A third person, a female is also believed to have been at the scene. She is described as being between 17 and 20 years of age with a heavy build and long hair. She was wearing a white and black sweater.
