On February 7, 2012, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Saskatoon Police were notified that RCMP officers had attempted to stop a truck, confirmed to be stolen, in the area of Cathedral Bluffs. The driver refused to stop continuing toward the city from HWY #11 on Wanuskewin Road. The RCMP aborted their criminal pursuit after losing sight of the truck when it turned onto Davies Road from Adilman Drive.

A SPS patrol car then located the suspect vehicle on Warman Road. A criminal pursuit ensued with the suspect vehicle reaching speeds in excess of 100 km per hour. Attempts to stop the vehicle with stop sticks were not successful. The pursuit was discontinued several minutes later and the suspects fled the scene. This vehicle was spotted later at several locations around the city by police driving erratic.

The stolen vehicle is described as a 2004, blue Dodge Ram Pickup truck with Crew Cab, stolen out of Battleford, SK.
