Subject: Male Arrested - Break And Enter/Assault/Theft - 1100 Block Avenue W North

A 25 year old Saskatoon male is facing a number of charges following a domestic dispute at a residence in the 1100 block of Avenue W North yesterday.

Police were called to the residence at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2012, to a report of a male who had committed a break and enter, then threatened the female inside with a knife, stole her debit card and fled the scene. Officers located the male a short time later at a convenience store at 33rd Street and Avenue W where he was taken into custody. The 20 year old female suffered minor injuries during the incident.

The male is facing charges of break and enter, assault, theft under $5000, fraud and four counts of breach of probation. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on Thursday, March 22, 2012.
