A Special Constable with the Saskatoon Police Service has been charged by RCMP in the Vanscoy area with Break, Enter, Theft and Mischief and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on May 2, 2012.

Special Constable Fay Sanders, 58 years of age, is an 11 year veteran of the SPS. She was charged with the offences after an incident on March 28, 2012 in the Vanscoy district, in relation to a domestic dispute.

The SPS is conducting an administrative review pursuant to the Saskatchewan Police Act, 1990. Special Constable Sanders is currently on leave.
