Subject: Update - Shooting (rel #244)

On Monday, April 2, 2012, at approximately 10:40 p.m. police responded to the 100 block of Avenue U South after receiving a report that someone had been shot in the area. A number of people in the park there were confronted by a group of males armed with a firearm. One shot was fired and as a result two males were injured. A 22 year old man sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene while a 17 year old male is recovering in hospital with what are believed to be non life threatening injuries.

The suspects are male and believed to be in their late teens to early 20's. They were wearing dark clothing.
