Saskatoon Police are investigating two armed robberies which occurred at the same business on April 8th and April 9th, 2012.
The first incident occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. on April 8th to the drinking establishment and off sale in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West. Two males wearing masks entered the business and threatened two employees with what was reported to be a sawed off shotgun. The two suspects then fled the scene with cash and liquor. They were described as being between 5'10 and 6' in height, with slim builds. The first suspect was wearing black pants, a black windbreaker, a black hat with white accents, black gloves and a black mask. He was carrying a white canvas bag with red print. The second suspect was wearing a black jacket with grey and red accents, a black shirt, brown pants, a black hat with white accents, black gloves and a white mask.
The same business was robbed again on April 9th at approximately 2:50 a.m. In this incident two males entered and threatened the employees with a machete. They fled with cash and liquor. The suspects were described as being approximately 6' in height. The first suspect was wearing a blue hoodie with a black bandanna. The second was wearing all black with a bandanna.
No one was physically injured during either incident.
