On May 20, 2012 the Saskatoon Police Service attended to the scene of a two vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of College Drive and McOrmand Drive. The accident occurred at approximately 12:39 p.m. when a vehicle traveling Northeast on College Drive collided with a second passenger vehicle attempting to make a left hand turn onto McOrmand Drive.
A total of three people were involved in the accident. A ninety two (92) year old male and his eighty six (86) year old passenger were transported to hospital with head and chest injuries while the lone occupant of the second vehicle, a forty eight (48) year old female, was suffering from shortness of breath. All three individuals are in stable condition.
Police remain at the intersection and vehicle traffic is restricted as the investigation continues. Witnesses have provided additional information which will help determine a possible cause, but anyone with information is urged to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300.
Update.. Traffic restrictions have been lifted at the intersection of College Drive and McOrmand Drive.
