Saskatoon Police are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at food establishment this morning.
Police were called to the business in the 1600 block of 8th Street East at approximately 8:30 a.m. Employees reported that a male had entered the business, threatened them with what appeared to be a gun, and demanded cash. The employees complied and he fled the scene on foot. Members of the Canine Unit conducted a track however no arrest was made. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as being between 50 and 70 years of age, with a short build. He was wearing a white hoodie and possibly a denim jacket over top.
