Subject: Traffic Restrictions/Riverbank Structural Issues - 11th Street East And Melrose Avenue

Saskatoon Police, Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services and the City of Saskatoon Emergency Measures Organization have responded to the area of 11th Street East and Melrose Avenue to a potential riverbank collapse.

Late this morning the agencies were alerted to structural problems in the area and are currently assessing the problem in the 200 and 300 blocks of 11th Street East and at 10th Street and Melrose Avenue. Traffic is now being rerouted away from that area.
