The Saskatoon Police Service is currently investigating a potential robbery/ theft from a local business located in the 3900 block of 8th Street East after an unknown male suspect entered the establishment and took a cash box containing an undisclosed amount of money.
The occurrence was generated on August 10th, 2012 at approximately 7:57 p.m. Police are in the process of obtaining video footage of the suspect and statements from witnesses. Information obtained at the scene suggests that two people were involved in the robbery and left in a dark colored Jeep Cherokee bearing Saskatchewan licence 455-IMI. The first suspect (responsible for the actual robbery) is described as follows:
Dark complexion (possibly Caucasian or Metis), 5'8" - 5'10", 160 - 180 lbs, short black hair, full sleeve of tattoos on his left arm and a large tattoo on the right side of his neck. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a light grey baseball cap, black sun glasses (wrap around style), black shorts, white runners, and a dark grey shirt with white letters on the front.
The suspect did not produce a weapon and no injuries were sustained by those involved. A description of the driver was not available.
