Subject: Two In Custody For April Robbery

The Saskatoon Police have two youths in custody charged with a violent street robbery that occurred on April 29th on the city's west side.
Two 16 year old Saskatoon males are in jail charged with armed robbery in relation to an incident that occurred in the area of 22nd Street West and Avenue T at approximately 9pm in the evening of April 29th. During this incident three males attacked two other youths. One of the victims was able to get away unharmed and call for help. The other was robbed of a gold necklace, stabbed in the left elbow and struck a number of times with a wrench. The victim was treated for injuries to his arms and hands and was later released.
Police are still seeking a third suspect in regards to this incident. The two accused will appear before a Justice of the Peace later today.
